Reverse Taper Nozzles

New nozzle design geometry optimized spray pattern increasing scrubbing efficiency, reducing lime utilization, and reducing wear on nozzle carbide without changing any plant operation parameters. Tests to date have shown an average of 15% pounds lime used to pounds SO2 removed. Extended life of nozzles is still currently being evaluated.
